I thought perhaps I should have something here since I've spent the better part of the last week flitting about and spreading lavish praise upon total strangers. Perhaps someone will be curious enough to drop by --

It's unlikely that I'll actually use this account for much because I'm much too addicted to my Livejournal to dedicate myself elsewhere. And it's been a very long time since I've done any original artwork and I daresay I've gotten somewhat rusty. However, a renewed interest in life has prompted me to dig through the mess and bring out my sketch books and pencils, so you never know. And then there's that annoying Photoshop addiction ...

I'm still largely learning the ropes, but thus far I like it here. There are so very many talented individuals out there and sometimes one does need fulfilment outside of the world of fandom.

Anyway, I've been exploring the stock photography, and I certainly like what I see. It's inspiring and daunting at the same time. Sometimes I don't think I'll ever be able to meet the standards of some members of DA - there are some incredibly talented people here. Like lots. And it's so much fun just looking at the works - I get distracted by shiny things - and forgetting that you may like to do something yourself.

Right, rambling introduction over, I'm gonna say a final 'HELLO!' and hope that my experiences at DA get even better and better


ETA: Is it just me or are there an awful lot of Portuguese people on this site? I seem to be encountering them *everywhere* ...
